ABOUT ME

I’m a mother, award winning change maker, rest and transformation coach, trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher, and founder of The Easeful Path.

For over two decades, I worked across philanthropy, government, and the nonprofit sector, leading efforts in social impact, systems change, and collective wellbeing. But like so many high-capacity women, I eventually hit the limits of pushing through. A decade-long journey with chronic illness and burnout led me to a turning point, one that taught me that healing and clarity aren’t found in doing more — they come when we slow down enough to truly hear ourselves.

Five years ago, I founded The Octavia Fund, an initiative rooted in rest and restoration for Black women activists. Since then, it has supported over 100 women and deepened my belief that honoring our inner wisdom, brilliant bodies, deepest desires, and need for rest is not a luxury. It is the key to our superpowers. They unlock clarity, creativity, and purpose. They are the foundation of visionary leadership and a fulfilling life.

And bonus! This work isn’t about doing more! It’s about being more present, more intentional, more at ease, and more true to yourself. It’s about coming home to what actually works for you. Because your wellbeing isn’t optional. It’s the foundation.

    Our nervous system is a compass. When we learn to listen, it gently guides us toward safety, clarity, and alignment.

    Transformation isn’t just a mindset—it’s an embodied experience. We root change in how we move, feel, and respond.
